Dr. Oden has been a member of the Saint Leo family for nearly 23 years. He served as Director of the Lake City Center for nine years and is currently full-time faculty in the Tapia College of Business. His professional experience is varied and extensive in the operations, supply chain and project management industries. An APICS/ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional, Dr. Oden designed and developed the MBA Supply Chain Global Integration curriculum at Saint Leo University. A retired Naval Officer, he initially enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was assigned to submarines; he was then commissioned and, among other assignments, Dr. Oden led strategic initiatives in the Persian Gulf in support of Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dr. Oden earned a BA in business management from the University of Mississippi, an MBA from Troy University, and a DBA from Nova Southeastern University.
