Dr. Christine E. Woods is the Online Reference and Instruction Librarian for Saint Leo University’s Cannon Memorial Library. She has a bachelor's degree in music from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master’s degree in library and information science from the Catholic University of America, and an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Liberty University. Before joining Saint Leo, Dr. Woods taught PK-12 as a school librarian at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in York County and Hampton, Virginia. At Old Dominion University, she taught information literacy and served as an adjunct faculty supervisor for pre-service teacher-librarians in the MLIS program. Her research interests include information literacy, instructional design, and assessment.

She is involved in many professional organizations, including the American Library Association, the Virginia Library Association, the ALA Library and Instruction Round Table, the Association of College and Research Librarians, and the Virginia ACRL. She regularly presents at state and regional conferences and publishes in national, state, and regional library science journals.
