Dr. Dan Tschopp is a Professor of Accounting in the Tapia College of Business at Saint Leo University and Chair of the Accounting, Economics, and Finance Department. Prior to joining Saint Leo, he was an Associate Professor of Accounting at Daemen College in Amherst, NY. He was also a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Tschopp is a CPA and holds an MBA with a concentration in accounting and a Ph.D. in economic geography with a concentration in international business and world trade, both from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His professional and research interests include Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting, and he has published more than thirty scholarly articles. In recognition of his contributions to the University, he has been lauded through a number of awards, such as Tapia’s Excellence in Teaching and Excellence in Research Awards; he also received the University’s Excellence in Service Award. Dr. Tschopp is also an Outstanding Educator of the Year for the State of Florida.
