Dr. LaQue Thornton Perkins is a retired United States Air Force veteran and an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in human resources management, project management, logistics, and contract management. She has served in a number of government, private, and higher education institutions. She holds an impressive array of academic qualifications, including a DBA from Argosy University, an MS in human resources from Troy University, an MBA in project management from Colorado Technical University, and a BA in human resource administration from Saint Leo University. Additionally, she is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and has earned the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Dr. Perkins has a long history of mentoring doctoral students; she has guided them through research exploring topics such as the armed forces, government, insurance, healthcare, project management, and leadership. Her contributions to academia extend to publishing scholarly articles and volunteering in her community through various organizations. She is an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and serves on advisory boards for organizations such as The Teaching Professor, Magna Publications, the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), and Cobb County School District’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program. Additionally, she is a reviewer for the Global Journal of Management and Business Disciplines.
