Dr. Patricia Tobin Senger is a tenured associate professor in the Saint Leo University MSW program. She has been teaching at Saint Leo since 2011 and has extensive clinical and administrative experience outside the classroom. She was the clinical director of the oldest substance abuse/ dual diagnosis facility in Connecticut, and the clinical director of a partial hospitalization program for older adults in southwest Florida. She has been continually licensed as an LCSW since 1992 and holds certification as a certified trauma professional CTP and is a qualified clinical supervisor for the State of Florida.
Dr. Senger's post MSW graduate education includes 4 ½ years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy training, and she holds a PhD in Human Services with a focus on Healthcare Administration. Her research interests include leadership, student engagement in the virtual course room and ethics.
Away from work, Dr. Senger enjoys playing golf and travel with her husband who is Saint Leo University alumnae, and their two Bichon Frise’s Shelby and Zoey.
