Dr. Polly Bashore holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and an MBA from Central Michigan University; she also earned a Ph.D. in Higher Adult Learning and Education from Michigan State University. Dr. Bashore began her professional career with General Motors where she held several leadership positions in supply chain management, business operations, engineering, IT systems and processes, and engineering design. She also helped to build and launch GM’s laboratory facility. After retiring from GM, she joined Baker College as the Business Program Director and Professor for the MBA and DBA programs. She also serves as a consultant with General Motors.
