Dr. Edward Dadez recently returned to the Graduate Education program after four years as the President of Saint Leo University. His work experience includes stints at The Ohio State University (assistant residence hall director, University of Dayton (residence hall director), Michigan State University (complex residence hall director), Bucknell University (associate dean of student affairs), Chowan University (vice president for student life), and Saint Leo University (vice president for student affairs; vice president for continuing education and student affairs, and vice president for student affairs and campus operations) graduate education faculty, university provost, university president, and graduate education professor and President Emeritus).
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in biology and psychology, masters of arts degree from The Ohio State University in college student personnel work), master’s in business administration degree from Saint Leo University, and doctor of philosophy in college and university administration from Michigan State University. His doctoral dissertation topic was “A Study of the Effects of Student Involvement upon the Development of College Students”. Research interests include: Higher education leadership; student development theories and practice; student involvement, first year student experiences, and campus operations.
