Dr. Fern Aefsky has over 30 years’ experience as a teacher and administrator (principal, director, assistant superintendent and superintendent) in public schools, has been an adjunct professor at various universities for 24 years, teaching and developing programs in educational and organizational leadership. She was the Director of Graduate Studies in Education at Saint Leo University from 2014-2025 and is currently a professor in graduate education.

Creating and sustaining partnerships regionally, nationally and internationally are a focus of her work. Collaboratively working with interdisciplinary teams to increase success through effective leadership and engagement of stakeholders, developing programs that meet the needs of practitioners, increasing mentoring opportunities for organizational leaders, and evaluating programs for ongoing strategic planning are areas of expertise.
